December 2017 Newsletter

Dear Woodstation Family,

Christmas time is approaching! Mrs. Pennington is working hard and has kicked off “Stocking Full of Love” to help children in our community. The Stocking Full of Love Drive is seeking new toys to brighten the holiday for families. The goal of our participation in this program is to teach life lessons and character traits such as generosity and compassion. If you are interested in participating, more information is attached in this newsletter. WHAT ELSE CAN YOU DO?? The Catoosa Children's Fund is where our families get help for utilities, gas vouchers, clothing, etc. Please see Mrs. Pennington if you would like to donate or have additional questions. Our Woodstation staff would like to thank parents in advance for your support and willingness to share during this season of giving.

If you’re looking for some fun things to do this holiday season, our Woodstation Singers have several holiday performances coming up. They will be performing at the Catoosa County Library Festival of Trees on December 7 at 6:00 pm. They have also accepted an invitation to perform at Third Man Records Winter Market Festival in Nashville on December 10. This is quite an honor! They will also be presenting a Christmas Musical here at Woodstation on December 14. We hope you will bring your whole family and enjoy these performances with us!

This year, our Christmas parent lunch at school is designated for 1st, 2nd , and 3rd grades on December 15th. Our wonderful dining room staff do a great job of preparing a special lunch for everyone. I hope you are able to come out and enjoy this time with us!

Our lost and found is growing every day, Please help us by putting your child’s name on the tag or inside of their jacket and coat. This will help us return the items back to their owner. All items that are not claimed during Christmas break will be donated to Christ Chapel. Wishing your family a blessed holiday season and a Happy New Year!
