The Media Specialist in the county have created (hopefully) a motivational tool to help prevent the summer slide in reading.

Mrs. Knight our Media Specialist is offering to allow students to check out two books, she will provide a plastic bag to transport them home for safe keeping, and will provide a reading log for students to track their progress if they choose to participate.  (Parents must sign stating they are aware of the responsibility of keeping up with the books over the summer.)  Mrs. Knight will be opening the library on June 20th and July 18th from 10 - 11 for our families to get new books.

Mrs. Knight is rewarding those students that participate at the beginning of the next school year in August.
